So I have been back at work and my blog has been MIA. Commuting two and a half hours weekly has taken a bit of my blogging spirit. But today, I got a little inspiration by remembering when I taught eight grade, my students loved the Tell Tale Heart and other works from Poe. I think Poe's total contribution to American literature has been understated because he was a genius (insane and drug induced, but a genius). Even after forty something years of schooling, my mother cab still recite portions of Annabel Lee.
